The story goes that a man is mining for gold and after digging for many days, he comes across a large vein of gold just three feet away from where he had been digging. The new owner continues to dig and finds the vein of gold just three feet away from where the previous miner had stopped. The moral of the story is that success is often so close, but giving up just before achieving it. It highlights the importance of not giving up and to keep pushing through difficult times to achieve success.
